Peer Review and Quality Assurance Assists With Complaints Regarding Dental Treatments
The Third District Dental Society through the Peer Review and Quality Assurance Committee an avenue for the patients of it's members. The process provides a confidential, impartial and timely mechanism to resolve dentist-patient disputes regarding appropriateness of treatment and the quality of care rendered by Third District member dentists. There is no cost for this service.

Dental Assisting
Hudson Valley Community College Certificate Program
This one-year online Dental Assisting certificate program prepares those who are new to the profession to perform a variety of tasks in dental offices, including sterilization of instruments, setting up dental materials and performing office duties.
This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation and satisfies all requirements set by New York State to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
Alternative Dental Assisting Program (ADAP)
This self-paced program is designed specifically for the experience, unlicensed dental assistant and will focus on all required course content areas as prescribed by the NYS Education Department. This course will provide adequate preparation to take the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) examination administered by the Dental Assisting National Board. Check HVCC for details
