Difficult cases can be simplified when carefully thought out. A strong background of crown and bridge, precision attachments, restorative dentistry and implants allows the practitioner to choose what is best for the patient, not what the practitioner can do well. This course will
present a unique approach to diagnosis and treatment planning that will offer the practitioner more options to help patients-including patients who are not candidates for sophisticated dentistry. The approach is
evidence-based--numerous case examples will be demonstrated from a library of more than 100,000 slides, digital pictures and X-Rays taken during the past 60 years. Included in the presentation will be a
discussion on:
·
how to examine and diagnose a patient·
how to choose the best treatment option for a patient·
how to manage difficult problems such as excessive wear, periodontal bone loss and malocclusions
·
how to handle teeth with no clinical crowns·
how to utilize “hopeless” teeth for transitional restorations·
when and how to splint teeth effectively·
when to best utilize fixed restorations, removable restorations and implant restorationsThis course will also demonstrate why the precision attachment case for both natural teeth
and implants is an excellent treatment option and why it is often a much better treatment option for the patient than fixed bridgework.
